The Families of the Victims

Our hearts are grieved with the news in Virginia, and our prayers go out to the families of the victims involved. May the God of all peace touch their hearts in a mighty way. This tragedy is giving us another look into the heart of America. It’s time to get prayer back in school, so we can find the only protection against the darkened hearts of people like the gunman who carried out the plan of wickedness that caused this horrible act of violence.

God bless the families of the victims who lost their young lives for no reason. We love you and pray for you.

I’m looking forward to a great trip to Kansas City this week. I will be meeting with a great Pastor friend of mine, Brian Zahnd, and I’m gonna bring my notebook! The Zahnd’s, Brian and Perri, pastor a great church in St. Joseph, Missouri called Word of Life Church outside of Kansas City. Pastor Brian has a keen hold of the prophetic Word for our generation, so I’m looking forward to the time we can spend together. Then on Friday night at WOLC, Lance (my son), and I will attend the Worship Service and the guest speaker is John Bevere. We’ll update you when we get back.

Blessings,

It’s that time of year again when we celebrate the greatest event in human history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Paul wrote in Philippians 3:10 “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Paul emphasizing the importance of knowing the resurrected saviour of the world. He’s alive! Jesus overcame even death itself when He rose to live again after the crucifiction, and that same power that raised Jesus is availible today.

We can partake of His sufferings, or “benefit” from the sufferings that He went through. That meaning we don’t have to go through the same sufferings but as benefactors we can claim the freedom from them! That’s why we can be healed, delivered, overcomers, victorious in every area of life. All because Jesus is our resurrected Christ who lives in the believer’s heart. Have a great Easter this year!

The Best is Yet to Come!
